What's Eastern Village? Overview OverviewEastern Village Cohousing is a warm and friendly community. It is highly participatory, collaborative, and eco-friendly. Each of the 56 condominum units comes with all the features you would expect in a condo. Plus the community has a large community dining hall for shared meals, community living room, kids playroom, game room, yoga room, library, workshop, hottub, green roof & much more. Eastern Village is a member of Mid-Atlantic Cohousing. Mid-Atlantic Cohousing (MAC) is a regional resource for existing and developing cohousing communities. The Eastern Village site is located at 7981 Eastern Avenue between Newell Street and 13th Street NW right on the line between Silver Spring and Washington, DC, very close to the northernmost point of the diamond shape of the DC border.
